NARFE, Chapter 377
The Chapter has recently established a Yahoo group as our email list. What is this list? It allows the chapter to quickly communicate with all members who have joined the list. For example, we may sent out an email on upcoming meeting or tell you important chapter news. It allows anyone who is on the list to sent a comment to everyone else on the list. Someone could read something and think other chapter members might want to know about it. Or someone might have an opinion on the current debate on federal benefits and wants to see what others think. And you can reply, either to the person who sent it or the entire mail list. Since you have many options these will be explained below.
You have the option of receiving all emails or just those from the chapter.
You have the option of staying with the list or leaving at any time.
Jack Reidy is starting the list now but it is a slow process. Yahoo is very aware of the spam problem with email so I cannot subscribe you without permission. I sent out an invitation and have subscribed those who agreed to join the list.
If you wish to sign up, let Jack know. If Jack subscribes you and you decide that you are not interested, there are directions for unsubscribing in the "Welcome email". If for some reason you cannot unsubcribe and that is what you want, contact Jack and he can do it for you.
If your browser runs Java Script you can email Jack by clicking the link below
But if you don't run Java Script the link will be invisible and you need to copy the address below into your email program.
